Description
We are a registered and accredited private secondary school, vocational center, language school, and higher education institution with an independent registered research center. We provide education and national examinations to part-time secondary school candidates (14 years +; open to adults as well), vocational training, higher education qualifications (certificates, diplomas, bachelor and bachelor honors degrees) in accounting and finance, business administration, human resource management, office administration, information technology and travel and tourism. Through the tourism department, a tourism and hospitality center has been created with the assistance of Air Namibia; the business and management department hosts the entrepreneurial hub; and the IT department hosts the IT Centre, which focuses on IT consultancy and IT short courses. The Language Centre provides foreign and local language services, translations and interpretations, transcriptions, editing, and secretarial services.
Opportunity
Our institution is one of the first accredited and reputable Private Higher and Vocational Education institutions in Namibia. The admission requirements for the Universities in Namibia are grade 12 with 25 points and a C in English. Less than 50% of students obtain these results and are looking for alternative entry points.
We provide entry for students who
1) have completed grade 12 or the equivalent
2) Have not received enough credits in grade 12 to be admitted at the public institutions. This group can register for a foundation qualification or a vocational qualification and can proceed to the next level if successful.
3) Have a grade 10 or lower qualification and wish to obtain a vocational qualification
The universities require for the majority of their qualifications that students complete 3 years before a formal qualification is awarded. After each year successfully completed, our students are awarded a recognized qualification.
